On Friday, September 27, LAFC made a visit to the pitch, with a couple of their players spending time with the kids from Nicks Kids. The players interacted with the kids, and LAFC generously provided brand-new cleats for all of them.

Additionally, the LAFC Foundation pledged $2,500 to supply silicon sand, essential for keeping the recently replaced turf in good condition. This sand helps preserve the turf’s lifespan and ensures a safer playing surface for the kids.

Nicks Kids will also get a hands-on lesson in applying the sand, with LAFC committing to provide it twice a year to support ongoing field maintenance. Along with the sand, LAFC is purchasing new goal nets for Nicks Kids, making a big impact on the overall playing experience.
